Michael Martin
Michael's practice focuses primarily on corporate and commercial law. He also has particular expertise in estate law, estate planning and successions. Michael has broad experience in commercial transactions and in the negotiation and drafting of a variety of commercial agreements.
Michael also sits on the boards of many private and non-profit corporations such as the MGH Corporation (formerly the Montreal General Hospital Corporation), its affiliated MUHC Heritage Centre Committee and the Whitearn Foundation. He has also served as President of the Hillside Tennis Club, the Montreal Badminton and Squash Club (now the Atwater Club) and the Cascade Golf and Tennis Club, in addition to serving on their boards. He's also on the board of the Grace Dart Foundation.
Michael was called to the Quebec Bar in 1976. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971 and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 1975, both from McGill University.
Michael is fluent in both French and English.
